About Kirkbride Construction


Kirkbride Construction was established in 1997. Having worked for 9 years as a Lead Carpenter and Project Manager for a high end remodeling company in the Bay Area, Chris relocated to Santa Barbara to start his own business. Chris’ work ranges from bathroom/kitchen  remodels  to entire house renovations to brand new custom homes. He has the knowledge and expertise to look at a project and offer valuable suggestions on the preliminary design, material selections and how to complete the job on time and on budget.


In the 18 years since he started his own business, Chris has acquired a team of professional and trustworthy subcontractors. Having an experienced team of subs is essential in making each job run smoothly and efficiently. They contribute to the quality of the job as well as assuring the project stays within budget. All our subs are licensed, bonded and insured. Chris has a background in fine finish carpentry and guarantees that each project is of utmost quality and attention is given to every detail. He takes pride in each project and is on the job daily interacting with clients and workers alike. Although specializing in remodeling Chris also has experience in new construction.

Estate Management

Chris has built long standing relationships with many of his clients and in the past few years he has expanded the company to include property management. Chris’ extensive knowledge of water and lighting systems, pools and koi ponds, wireless internet systems and landscape management has made him desirable to many clients who are in need of an Estate Manager. Whether it’s requiring someone to walk the property weekly or to ensure that your home runs smoothly and looks its best at all times, Chris has the ability to customize his services to a client’s needs.
